We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to help coordinate and amplify his external engagements while managing key internal operations.
About the Role:
The Executive Content & Events Assistant will play a central role in managing the President’s visibility and productivity. This dynamic hybrid position blends content planning, event coordination, and executive administrative support. You will help identify and manage speaking opportunities, develop aligned content, and ensure effective follow-up with clients and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is organized, creative, and reliable someone who can translate ideas into action, keep projects moving, and support a consistent and polished external presence.
This is a hybrid role based out of Royersford, Pennsylvania.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Development & Thought Leadership
- Draft and coordinate content such as newsletters, whitepapers, presentations, and video scripts, ensuring alignment with the President’s tone and SSC’s sustainability mission.
- Capture ideas and insights from meetings and events to transform into useful content and messaging.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice while supporting the President’s unique leadership perspective.
Content Calendar & Visibility Planning
- Build and manage a content calendar focused on the President’s external engagements, including:
- Webinars
- Industry speaking events
- Whitepaper releases
- Podcast or media opportunities
- Coordinate timelines, deadlines, and promotional efforts for each engagement to maximize impact.
- Track opportunities and speaking pipelines, ensuring SSC maintains strong visibility in relevant markets.
- Coordinating and scheduling additional internal subject matter experts (SMEs) for external speaking opportunities to ensure diverse representation across markets.
Event & Speaking Engagement Coordination
- Research and coordinate speaking opportunities across industry events, webinars, and thought leadership platforms.
- Identify and pursue unconventional or emerging platforms—such as podcasts, niche panels, local business forums, and cross-industry collaborations—to expand visibility and reach new audiences.
- Handle end-to-end logistics for events, including scheduling, presentation prep, communications, and follow-up.
- Oversee post-event follow-up, ensuring leads, conversations, and partnerships are tracked and moved forward.
Executive Administrative Support
- Manage the President’s calendar and travel, ensuring schedules are organized, efficient, and responsive to changing needs.
- Working closely with the President on email outreach and meeting coordination on a weekly basis.
- Prepare agendas, presentation decks, and briefing materials ahead of internal and external meetings.
- Track follow-up items, next steps, and project alignment across stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in executive support, event coordination, and/or content/marketing roles.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills—capable of developing professional, persuasive content.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities and moving parts.
- Experience supporting speaking engagements, content planning, or external visibility initiatives.
- Comfortable using tools like Microsoft Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, LinkedIn and PowerPoint.
- High level of discretion, proactivity, and alignment with organizational tone and direction.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Zoho experience a plus)
