We are looking for a meticulous and quality-focused Certification Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and perform assurance of sustainability-related certifications, ensuring alignment with certification schemes, audit plans, and standards while maintaining precise documentation. This client-facing position supports GreenCircle’s full range of certifications, such as recycled content, waste diversion, energy savings, and more. This is a US-based fully remote opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

Certification:

• Lead client sustainability certification projects
• Utilize technical expertise to gather and analyze data, verify information, and document findings for third-party audits under GreenCircle’s Certification Scheme
• Maintain a thorough and accurate recordkeeping of individual client/project data
• Coordinate and conduct site visits as part of the certification audit for both domestic and international clients
• Document results through written audit reports following company procedures
• Apply a thorough understanding of GreenCircle’s Standard Audit Plans to all projects
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information and resolve issues related to certifications
• Conduct quality reviews of assigned tasks, ensuring precision, accuracy, and adherence to GreenCircle’s QC procedures
• Develop and present the final certification report and certificates

Project Management:

• Apply project management skills while working on multiple concurrent projects to complete project tasks on-time and under budget
• Manage tasks, budgets, and project schedules in project management tool
• Lead client meetings and status calls
• Prepare and present client presentations and status reports
• Evaluate current certification workflows and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Responsibilities may include other related tasks and support as needed.

Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability Studies or related science field. Master’s degree preferred but not required

• Experience: 3-5+ years of professional experience in technical auditing, data processing, or manufacturing processes
• Proven technical experience in life cycle assessment, manufacturing systems, material and process flows, and waste water treatment processes
• Preferred but not required knowledge in Sustainability; Life-Cycle Assessments/ISO 14001 and ISO 14040; Material and Process Flow Analyses; FTC Green Guides; GHG Inventory Accounting; Environmental Product Labeling; Material Ingredient Reporting
• Solid project management skills with the ability to oversee a portfolio of projects and tasks, including client communication, scheduling, budgets, and progress tracking to ensure timely and successful project delivery
• Professional experience in verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing
• Adaptability, resourcefulness, and the ability to apply knowledge to varying business situations in a fast-paced environment
• Strong data management and time management skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent logic and critical-thinking skills
• Able to manage sensitive and confidential information
• Proficient in Excel with intermediate to advanced skills
• US Work Authorization
• Availability to travel up to 20% of the time with a valid driver’s license and passport
